Few days ago I"ve installed Free Download Manager from Link removed - Ron No links to malware or suspected malware
    without problems...NOD didn't detect anything.

Today one of my friends installed it also and Avast found a spyware inside a .tmp file created during install.

Can anyone from ESET analyse this software and tell me if it's ok regarding spywares?
    Thx

well, I don't know exactly what spyware found Avast but after a scan with Kaspersky it found not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.SaveNow.bo. :)

Everyone keep in mind this the Official support forum for NOD32. It is not a test forum for unknown or known malware. Please do not drag test results, dubious links, and other off topic subjects to this forum.
    Thanks for your help.

I don't think Yahoo Toolbar is spyware or adware. ;)

I Have FDM and KAV didn't pop up with anything when I downloaded and installed. Now I'm trailing NOD32 again Since I have a little time left. NOD didn't find anything either.

I am using FDM since many months( even used it with Avast) and it is totally clean. U can upload the filr to Jotti and virus total and also try to scan with Ewido.
I will suggest to delete the file and also uninstall FDM. Download a fresh copy of FDM from their site and then see if u get the problem again.
However I can,t say anything about this pa

I always uninstall it whenever I come across it..may not be adware itself..but a big road into the computer for adware. Like a snowball. It's all over the place now, since they have deals with all sorts of software..comes bundled in with it now. Adobe, Macromedia, etc.

FDM v1.5 and earlier used to have NavHelper but that has been removed.

The latest FDM v2.0 Build 422 is clean and works nice.
