I hesitates on installing some programs that I can't completely remove on my pc when I want to. :cautious: I am not a techno geek and I don't like to mess up my system...:doubt:

In your personal experience, what really are the good side and bad side of Comodo Firewall v2?

    - is this firewall light on system resources and RAM? o_O

    - is this firewall easy to remove? coz i've heared some users says that it didn't like to be uninstalled on the system... :p

-is this firewall produces many "unnessary pop-ups" even if our pc is off-line? o_O

-did it affect internet speed, and could cause some slow down surfing the net?

Well, I really hesitates installing it. Pls share to us your real-life experiences with this firewall...

No slow down here. I'm having problems with playing games, not just online either, but they are looking into this. They are really helpfull on their forums and are always looking for input from users.
Really easy to use and clear layout.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it and had no problems in that department.
Pop-ups, there are a few but you have the option to tick 'remember this choice'.

    Hi Sweater

Not to hijack the thread, but you ought to look at FDISR. Then you could install something like the Comodo Firewall, test it, and if you like it keep it, and if you don't like it or it causes trouble, poof it's gone. Because in reality what people say here doesn't matter. It's how it plays on your system.

Go into Leapfrogs forum, and put that in the wish list.

    Squash

We are trying to squash that problem with Install shield! (no pun intended :) ) Unfortunately thats a third party installer that we used seems to have problems. We are re-doing all that for CPF in the next version..

    thanks

Only problem I am experiencing is Comodo frequently closing down, usual "Comodo has encountered a problem and needs to close" - I am concerned that it seems a bit "fragile" but am not sure what else to use.

Pls send an email to support@comodo.com (and or go to the comodo forums) and ask for help there. We will most definitely get to the bottom of your problem for you.

    Thanks thats good news Melih.
I also request another feature, if there isn't current so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a password protect feature. :D

I will not use any security software that does not have a password protect feature.

Ask 'em here. http://forums.comodo.com/index.php/board,2.0.html I think you've already been beaten to your request. :D

Comodo doesn't support multiple users, fast user switching, or Limited User accounts very well or actually not at all.

My XP Pro machine has two Limited User accounts. Trying to fast user switch to either one gets a message saying Comodo won't work, and network traffic is blocked.

Too many problems for me - keeps closing down for no apparant reason and when it is working it keeps popping up warning boxes even when I've already told it to allow it.
Had to abandon the trial here.

It does have some problems with avast antivirus's web scanner. I installed comodo recently and experienced some problems, I attributed it to a potential software conflict between comodo and avast, so I switched back to the now-obsolete sygate personal firewall.
