Would please someone confirm this MD5 signature for build 3633 installation file before I go ahead?

    85cdfc4187d155fd8069f943b03bf7da trueimage9.0.3633_s_en.exe

I had a troubled 1.5 hours' download over my two channel dial-up connection. My telephone company promised that I'd be on broadband in time for TI ver. 10.0 :D

    Thank you.

You mean I'm not the only one on dialup? :D For large downloads, I go to the local library about a mile away. :D :D

    No, no, Chutsman,

I've been a tractor riding guy for some years now, and it would spoil my image if someone saw me step into a library. :D

    Mine is: MD5: 85CDFC4187D155FD8069F943B03BF7DA

Looks the same to me, if there is even a bit wrong the number changes dramatically.

Downloaded and ran test you suggested.

    MD5 value: 85CDFC4187D155FD8069F943B03BF7DA

Below is an email I sent to Acronis regarding Win 98 SE & 3633.Looks all right to me,

There is obviously something different in build 3567 and 3633 as one version works and the other does not. I do not have any high powered applications on this computer (Win 98 SE) as I use it for the, exclusively.

Looks like I will be dead ended at build 3567. I don't think it is worth your effort to fix something for Win 98. I would make aware to other Win 98 users, that they could have a problem with newer builds.

As far as I know they don't, but would be nice if they did.

That's why I came here to compare to other members' signature.

    Hello bVolk,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

The MD5 checksum for build 3633 of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home is 85cdfc4187d155fd8069f943b03bf7da. So, your installation file has been downloaded correctly.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

    Thank you Tatyana,

Build 3633 installed and run well at the beginning, but the next day it would just bail out from the Backup Wizard after the ntdll.dll call and exit. No backup possible.

I'm presently back on build 3567 to reconfirm full system stability while collecting more information from this forum. Then I'll try 3633 again and report back with more details if the issue reappears.

With the installation files grown so large now, it would be nice to have their checksums available on the official site. Posted an entry in the wish list thread on this matter.

I totally agree. It should be easy for Acronis to include a MD5 checksum for each of the latest builds listed under the user's registered products.

    Regards
