Need Some Dr. Web Help

    I running the trial version of Dr. Web and I cannot figure out how to use the scan tree panel. I click on the drives and they get a mark on them, but then I can't see how to start a scan, deselect files, etc. And I cannot figure out those five buttons on the left of the panel. The only way I managed to do a scan is by right-clicking, browsing to a single drive, and then clicking on scan.

    Also, does Dr. Web have a way to have it automatically check for updates.

    Although referring to version a. instead of version c. you might have a look at our screen shots.

    Thanks, Paul. That jogged my thinking and now I've discovered how quite a few things work.

    Check the drives you want to scan. Any then click the red "person"underneath the Dr. Web sing on the right hand side. That should start the scan. As for automatic updating, I believe it is possible but you will need to use the scheduler to do this. It also needs to be launched at startup of your computer.

    Thanks, n8chavez. I didn't even think to press on that person picture.

    BTW, I found where to set up automatic update, so I'm set with that.
