It kinda seems like DCS have been wanting to release it as final (ie. non-beta) for a few releases now, just that they seem to find another issue whose fix needs retesting as any fix can potentially break it again ;).

This program is messing about in very sensitive areas. If they get it wrong you will suffer significantly. I had one very bad experience with an early beta and returned to the then current release. I waited a long time before I finally decided that the present beta was reasonably safe, and for me it is.

This is one program that MUST be close to perfect or you could regret ever using it.

I think I can speak on this and say it will get here when it gets here. I do not mean to sound rude but DCS tried to give round about times for some software before as did some other developers and it seems when those dates do not get met on time (or ever for that matter) people start getting impatient. Please understand that they will provide the software as soon as it is ready. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

    Thanks,

    Chris

I'm wondering where the beta is that Wayne said we would probably get the first part of the week...the week is almost over and no beta. I didn't bother to install beta 3 because a new beta was supposedly coming right away.....I'm going on vacation next week so I guess when I get back there will probably be not just another beta but a final version.

I've been watching and waiting like the rest of you...

I've even set aside one system to test on.... but I'm waiting for final version.

I do beta work and know what happens when things don't quite work right....

I could hardly run multiple types of beta software on same system and feel confidant that the bug reports I give to either are accurate, could I?

Patiently waiting... We'll get there when we get there! :D!

Although i don't use it "YET" i'm patient and anxious to see how well it comes about when it is ready to turn loose for the public/business use.

Theres no doubt in my mind they have a lot of the pieces and plenty of study to bring it to perfection as best as possible given the difficulty most developers run into when trying to integrate security into a Windows internal makeup.

Has to be a headache at some points to make everything important for excellent security to synchronize in all the right ways for users.

Well...yeah all that you guys have said is pertinent but I'm interested in when this current hole (ICE termination) will result in a new beta. Wayne said he had finished the analysis a week ago.

Now Wayne has to find the solution. It would be nice if he tells us how that's coming along.
