    Re: NTLM authenication support

I'd just like to second this one and put it back in the public consciousness.

Sometimes, even personal users get stuck behind corporate firewalls, and have no control over them. Please consider adding this ASAP! Pleeeeease? :D

Unfortunately, that section of the "Tips" post is no longer useful, as you can see:
So I second the suggestion you replied to...could you please make update files manually downloadable from a webpage?

I use Portable Firefox on a thumb drive. In order to update it, I have to first update my wife's standard version of firefox on our home desktop computer, then copy her hostperm.1 file to the profile directory on my thumb drive (usually attached to my laptop). It is not very convenient. It would be nice if you supported Portable Firefox, or at least let me manually point to the profile directory for updates.

Also, how portable is SpywareBlaster? Maybe a "truly" portable version is in order: http://portableapps.com/

Excellent program, by the way. I almost never get AdAware or Spybot S&D reports of malicious junk on my computers (when I keep SpywareBlaster up-to-date, that is ;) ). I'd seriously consider subscribing to the AutoUpdate feature if you seamlessly supported Portable Firefox.

A simple request: I would like an icon in the notification area of the task bar so that I know that SpywareBlaster is up and running. I have the notification area of the task bar reserved exclusively for icons of my critical security programs so that when I log-on, I can see when the security programs are completely loaded and are up-and-running. There are several security programs that I use which are missing from the notification area because the icons are not provided, SpywareBlaster is one of those programs.

Support for safe browsers (such as opera) would be nice but respect would be enough for me. url links in spywareblaster still seem to be hardcoded for msie, and that doesn't seem respectful. Shouldn't all links launch the default browser?

    Hello,

I am behind a proxy server at a university, which prevents me from updating SpywareBlaster. The system requires us to enter a userid and password to gain access to the internet. This is required every time an external link is accessed. SpywareBlaster allows for proxy server settings but not for userid and password. I also use Spybot and AVG; they have a userid and password authentification option panel with their proxy server setting. Adding the password feature would be a great help.

    Regards

    Bad Apple

I'm new so pardon the possible repeat message, I'd like to see a scheduled autoupdate rather than a autoupdate on boot, my pc is on all the time, so a update on boot is setting me up for out of date files.
I use the spyware blaster program loads, love it, great program.
and again make the flash blocker easier to use, on the front page instead of tools etc...I hate those ads, my wife likes em, but I hate em.

I am new user and have version 3.5.1 and I was hoping you can tell me now to do a simple scan? I've used others but for some reason I can't find where to click to scan. Thank you.

Spyware Blaster is great but it has to update some tracking cookies :

    TrackingCookie.Adocean
    TrackingCookie.Yadro
    TrackingCookie.Tradedoubler

I will report more tracking cookies later.

Ok I have found more tracking cookies :

    TrackingCookie.Atdmt
    TrackingCookie.Com
    TrackingCookie.Googleadservices
    TrackingCookie.Statcounter

And I really like that in next versions of SpywareBlaster be a security for opera.

First, many thanks for making EULAlyzer and SpywareBlaster available to us.

Second, consider me part of the chorus of S/B users who would like Opera support. Thanks in advance.
