i just checked my Firefox and i've got loads of extensions  i thought i'd only have about 3 or 4 lol. my equal top favourite are -

Cutemenus - adds cute icons to the menus
Sessionsaver - mine's called sessionsaver.2 it might be old now though, i don't really use Firefox. it opens Firefox with the tabs which were open when it closed. :D
Dictionary Search - lets you highlight a word and it looks it up in the backgroud for you.
Download tweak manger - some small tweaks to the download Manager
Paste Quote - puts [QUOTES] in for you automatically
Undoclosetab - reopens tabs you have already closed.
    Wayback Machine
WebmailCompose - takes you straight to you webmail account - not good security
Greasemonkey - i'm sure it's the best extension by miles (km :D ) but i was too lazy to learn it properly.

Favorite single extension would have to be SpoofStick as with a single glance I know exactly where I am & if it's where I intended to be or not. ( thanks Ronjor for the link in the Thread "What are the "Must Have" extensions for Firefox )

Others are Adblock Plus & the Filterset G Updater. Also have NoScript but am still working out how best to utilise this extension.

Am still working my way through the list of extension's in the above link while keeping it to those that suit my browsing style & that of the other user of this pc.

So far all are working with the updated version of Firefox with no conflicts so far today :D

If I had to have only one, it would be Adblock Plus.
I use 15 others to give me that "personal" touch.

Perhaps if you highlight it then click the red uninstall button shown at the top of the picture?

    Hi aigle,

    I think this work :

    • shut down FF
    • Go to Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Yourprofilename.default
    • rename extensions.ini and extensions.cache in .old
    • Restart FF and FF will recreate this 2 files with the valid installed extensions

If it doesn't work so you can rollback with the previous 2 files

And sorry for my bad english

BTW, I found 2 default profiles and I deleted one that was smaller. Why two profiles?

I think it's because you get a default profile and then a profile per XP user.

Start, Run, 'firefox.exe -p' to see what profiles you have, create new one or delete existing.

make sure firefox is not running when you do this.

Opera 9 beta does, just right click the page, choose edit site preferences, then scripting.

    I didn't know that.. :cautious:

Is this a built-in Opera feature or it should be installed first like the firefox ScrapBook extensions? And do it really functions the same like ScrapBook...easy to capture fast and easy to use? o_O

It is a separate install plugin. Runs in tray. Not exactly same as ScrapBook but very similar and almost same function.
    Google it to get.
