    Hi All,
I set AMON to scan files only on Create event and set max settings for IMON since I have a cable connection. If we consider that my system clean at the moment, do these settings give a good level of protection?

    Thanks,
    Vladimir

    Hi,
you should take into account that the Internet is not the only means for spreading malware. Moreover, with higher compatibility mode it's more likely that malware could slip through IMON.

I'd recommend that you retain default settings for AMON, you shouldn't notice any impact on the system performance when scanning files on access.

    Thank Marcos,
But I remember I noticed both IMON and AMON "on create" logs when I opened some web pages. I.e. all mailvare that leaked thru IMON, was blocked by AMON. Does this mean that on access file scanning requires only if I will try to execute an infected executable which hasn't been detected with earlier versions of database?

    Thanks,
    Vladimir
