Hi guys! I run in my PC (Pedium ® 4 , processor 3.00 GHZ , 1024MB RAM) Nod32 antivirus , outpost firewall pro 3.5 (real time protection disabled) , adware Se personal , spybot search and destroy (tea timer disabled) , spywareblaster , ccleaner , tune-up utilities 2006 , processguard , winpatrol plus , counterspy , cwshredder and regdefend.
I wonder if I could try tauscan , before buying it , without compatibility problems. In case I can , should I set some specific settings for my programs?
    Best Regards!
    Kostas

For what do you need Tauscan? Your Grandma will find more trojans upon accidents than Tauscan.

    LOL :D ,

Hi Kostas, there shouldn't be any compatibility problems with other programs but I am puzzled as to why you'd go for Tauscan? If you browse for Tauscan in this forum, then you'll find a lot of info and probably you'd go for something else...definately.

Can you suggest other effective antitrojan programs compatible with the programs I have mentioned?
    Best Regards!

    Tauscan?
    There are better options.
    BoClean is one.
    Ewido Antimalware is another.
    BoClean has a money-back guarantee instead of a trial.It's a monitor only.
Ewido has a free scanner and a trial of the monitor part of the program.I believe it's a 14 day trial.

I agree with the Tester that BoClean and Ewido are among the top Anti-Trojans, but I'm no expert. One advantage BoClean has over other products is that you are allowed to install on multiple PC's and there are no upgrade fees. BoClean EULA
Other AT's to research are A2 and Trojan Hunter. I don't think you want Tauscan.

Off course Kostas, Boclean/Ewido would fit in just right!

    Enjoy it!

    Vantzos Kostas,

Reviewing the Is an AT Really Needed? thread may be worthwhile since your circumstances may not justify a separate AT at all.

Isnt the Antispyware plugin in Outpost based on Tauscan? So if you activate the realtime Antispyware in OP you have your Tauscan working with no extra costs? Whats my misunderstanding?

The capability of Tuascan/OP Antispy is said by many to be not so good - but I dont know.

To make suggestions for you to add on to your protection set up seems odd to me - take some off more likely?

    Best Regards

That is correct - Agnitum's Tauscan purchase page does now specify this.
