I have been using NOD32 for over 2 years now and I have to tip my hat to the guys at Eset for producing a top-notch product that hasn't failed me yet. I know that NO AV PRODUCT is 100% reliable in stopping ALL virusus and the sort, but NOD32 comes close. I also appreciate that it's not a resource hog.

I switched to NOD32 after using Systemworks and Norton AV back in the 2003 version. When Systemworks 2004 came out Norton had been bloated out of control at that point and their protection is inferior to NOD32's sleek small footprint. So to the newbies looking for a good product, look no furthur. If anything Eset has set the gold standard for what antivirus should be. Hopefully everyone will get on the bandwagon and aspire to Eset-like perfection, especially McAfee which is useless bloatware and Symantec's diminishing quality. Eset NOD32 is one of the best pieces of software I own and I suggest it to all, you won't be disappointed, I say BUY!!!!!!!

I don't know about it being the "best", but, yep, it's pretty darn "good". However, I am taking a hard look at KAV/KIS 2006 as my Nod32 license will expire soon. I've been having some concerns regarding Nod lately, nothing major mind you, but enough to make me consider a switch. No matter what, I hope Nod continues to be a top-notch AV product as competition amongst vendors is the best way to ensure keeping up with the bad guys!!

again fever, NOD32's not the only good AV as there are so many vendors who make AV software, even I could never try them all. It's good to see other good products being listed and I will keep an eye out for it as I like looking at new products when released and even better finding ones that work as good as NOD32, take a bow Eset!!!

Based on my own preferences, I have to agree that NOD32 is the very best.
Some folks may think otherwise, but that's their opinion (some like red cars, others like black cars etc.).. :)

Hi ... I second it , I too think its the best out there , I was reading from this website were the writer was giving his review on NOD32 , Well after reading his article , I wrote to him and mention about this forum site , At which time he wrote back saying that he going to be looking into this forum site and changing his article , I am guessing its the part of no support for NOD32 , which he will now notice that there is ... :thumb:

Last night I did a scan with NOD32 came up clean, I wanted to see if NOD32 missed anything. So I did a free online scan with http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner . Kaspersky didn't find a thing, glad I chose the best...NOD32.
