Hi Tony Klein, I must believe that not all the elves are friendly: RD worked well at last but when I added a wildcard * at the end of the key as you suggested, I got messed up really good. I tried this and that to no avail, at the end I started again from scratch: installed a fresh copy of your rules, got a lot of blocks, removed them one by one adding my groups and rules and now - I hardly believe it - everything works well! The good elves won ?

That really is rather unlikely. The wildcard can only result in allowing more, thus giving you fewer RD popups...

Anyway, good to hear all is now well. Thanks for the heads up! :)

hey paperinik.. :) i was wondering where you went.. i am glad to hear that everything is working OK, now.. now you know how to resolve the problem with the "automatic-blocking", if you ever run into it again..

i knew that you were having a hard time, but that it would not be hard to work out..

you do not need a "wildcard" to address one regkey with one "value"..

incidentally, you can "export" your "app groups", if you want to back them up, and then you can import them, later, if needed, except that i have found that every time that i reformat, i have to modify my "network" rules, in the "app groups"..

Hi redwolfwe, yes I think that from all these issues I have learned a few things. And, yes, now I have exported all my personal applications groups in order to import them again when needed. Thank you for your help and your support - Ciao!
