What about PC-cillin Int. Sec. 2006?

Is it reliable? How would you compare with other suites?

I never test it, but i´ve heard good things about it, they have a very strong firewall and are very good at detection new malwares.

Hi,

I've used PC-Cillin for years & had good luck. 2006 version, kept giving FP's & they showed no interest in correcting. Also most of the components, firewall, spam, AS, I did not use, found stronger products. I dumped PC-Cillin & went with NOD32. Of particular importance to me was the overall poor quality of PC-Cillin, compared to others, at AV comparatives.

i did the same as you, my PC Cillin IS 2005 Expired December 2005 i believe, after expired i brought nod32 and never look back

I have a license for PC-Cillin IS 2006 but I don't use it because of the extremely high resource use of the TMProxy. I have seen this module use up to 90 megs by it self.

Trend Micro PC-cillin 2006 runs very nice here. But like you can see in my signature I'm affiliated with Trend Micro now-a-days, so I'm afraid my opinion doesn't count .

I have been trialing the 2006 version for 5 days now and love it. It actually alerts me when someone attempts to connect to my wireless internet. WOW!. Overall, it causes no lag noticable and no false positives so far. I'll be buying this one if the good results continue to come in for the next 20+ days.
