    CURRENTLY I HAVE ZASS,EWIDO(GUARD ACTIVE),ON-LINE ARMOR (FULL PROTECTION),& SPYSWEEPER(ON DEMAND SCANNER).BUT AM WONDERING IF I NEED MORE PROTECTION FROM ROOTKITS.HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIANCE WITH BLACKLIGHT,ICESWORD,UNHACKME,ROOTKIT REVEALER OR ANY OTHER DEDICATED ROOTKIT DETECTOR? IS IT EVEN NESSESARY TO WORRY ABOUT THIS ? NOT PARINOID JUST WANT TO BE SAFE. ALSO THE COMPATABILITY WITH ONE OF THESE ROOTKIT DETECTORS WITH MY OTHER SOFTWARE.DONT WANT TO SCREW-UP MY PC TRYING TO BE SAFER.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    Once in a while I scan my computer with Blacklight. I haven't found anything yet, and thats good :)

    BOClean is the pre-eminent rootkit detector/killer.

    Stop them from getting in and you wont have to worry about wasting your time trying to dig them out. -> ProcessGuard ;)

    I think you do (need more protection from rootkits).
    My 1st choice is BOClean
    2nd UnhackMe (no conflict among them,even with latest BOCORE)
    3rd ,an occasional check with Blacklight, until its free
    4th an occasional glance with Rootkit Hook Analyzer,just to watch
