True, but that could be just because it uses the UPX runtime packer. None of the virus programs actually detected anything.

Shanijee, I think you mean, "ok guys", not "ok gays". ;)

The file is located at 'C:\Downloads' according to the posted image of the properties pages.
So did you download this file seperately at another time?

Any website that has the word 'twats' in its front page is probably not to be trusted....

SHanijee - Why do you insist on downloading and uploading crap THEN complain about your computer being affectedo_O?

Are there no job vacancies in your local call centres?

Isn't the whole point of an antivirus program to protect you from crap?

Yes it is. But as has been stated so often here, no Av will protect you 100%. Usually if you go looking for trouble though, you find it, or it find you.

    Point taken. :thumb:

However, twat or no twat, that does not mean that the Adobe Reader Speed-Up v1.34 is responsible for the fake AdobeGammaLoader file. I am rather inclined to believe it is not, especially since none of the antivirus programs that detected the fake A.G.L. file had a problem with the Speed-Up program. The fake A.G.L. probably came from somewhere else (where he should not have been ;)).

Shanijee, to answer your question about why it has not been added to the NOD32 signatures, it could be because it is relatively harmless, so other viruses have higher priority for now. That is just a guess, though.

...no, not 'gays' - that means homosexual. I think you mean 'guys', otherwise you must be speaking just for yourself - definately not for me.
    Cheers :)
