Sounds like all is going well now. I ordered mine this afternoon. I will post back when it arrives and is up and going.

At least that way those (hold outs like me) who have made requests before me may get an idea as to a potential problem getting through to them with their updates for what ever reason, but like an email filtering issues or something like that. ;)

Note those using 4.12 version need to get on board with at least 4.20 as 4.12 will not be supported with definition updates according to email sent from PSC.

I would be concerned about being two versions behind anyway. One :doubt: o.k. unless Kevin said otherwise but two versions behind now a days :ouch: I think not.

    Thanks,
I have found the answer dealing with limited user accounts. It near the bottom of a Boclean support page below:

Looks like I got it in a little less then 3 hours. :D

Loaded it up all seems to be working just fine looks to be less RAM useage then 4.20. CPU useage on my old Compaq 5000 Presario spikes to 36% tops and only occassionally. My system is older and I can live with that spike.

Will play around with some Out Post settings. See how things work.

Performance wise, no conflicts, and no problems. ;)

Edit: (Sniker) I'll play with Out Post settings later. I'll load the Emachine and get it up to date.............

WOW! Emachine CPU useage doesn't even break 10%. This one has McAfee Firewall not Out Post.

I guess I'm unlucky then ... BOClean 4.21.002 gives me application crashes and soaring-high CPU spikes quite constantly.

    Oh well.

    Sounds like a software conflict.

Well, drop NSClean Support a line. I'm sure they'll be able to figure out how to fix this for you.

That's the euphemistic way of putting it.

Since BoCore runs as a service, what happens if you don't have BoClean running (i.e., no icon in the tray)? Does BoCore provide any protection by itself? Would you get any warning if it did prevent an infection?

I have the version mailed to me 3-1-06. I am not having any cpu usage problems but after install I ran Trojan simulator and it was not detected. In the past I would use this download to make sure all was well. Do I need to get the new version again or am I missing something? Perhaps someone could point me to another test file so I can make sure BoClean is working properly.

I am interested by BoClean. If I order it to-day, am I going to get the
latest version, which seems to be 4.21.002?

    Thanks for help.:)

002 is the best version yet.

put the "troublesome" progs in the excluder and virtually no cpu spikes.
Unlike previous versions with same progs excluded, I was still getting 15%+ spikes.

    Great Job!

Now if we can only get some independent valid proactive AT tests ;-)
