    I have three servers listed in the program, and get the "unable to access servers" error message on all three.

    If you are using a firewall I hope the server sun.uid0.sk is allowed and you can access it.

    Yes. I added permission for that one awhile back. Things stopped working around an hour ago, according to the logs.

    Just to let you know, FWIW, I just now updated and got the update without any problems. I had CC set to use the esetsoftware.com server. I've been using that server for some time now.

    (Just wondering, should I have CC set to access another server?)

    That server does not work for me; neither does nod32.com nor eset.sk.

    Hello everybody,

    Same problem - unable to access servers. First I thought it was because of the ZA I installed on my PC today so I uninstalled it but that didn't help. This was so far my first problem with NOD. I've been using NOD for over a year.

    Anyhow, I reinstalled NOD and that solved the problem. My database is up to date - 1.444 I just hope this problem won't appear again tomorrow.. BTW I used the "old" installation file from June 5 ...

    I'm also curious if I really HAD to reinstall it to solve the problem. If so I'll also have to reinstall it in the company my father works for. I'm some kind of a antivirus admin;) Fortunately it's just 2 computers :)

    Just to add - I didn't uninstall it first. I just installed it over.

    I also think it's weird.. Maybe jan or someone else from Eset can explain this... I'd really like to know what the problem was..

    Hmm I'm really puzzled now..

    BTW I don't know if this matters but which version do you guys use - standard or administrator? I use Administrator(slovak). Operating system is W2K SP3 (last updated today:) ;
    It's almost midnight here in Slovakia so I don't expect a reply from Eset till tomorrow.

    It's working. Yeah! Just tried manual update and the newest virus sigs were downloaded.

    Thanks to the Eset guy (or gal) that "kicked" the server.
