    Nice.

The HUGE waste bin icon looks a little out of place though (IMHO).

here's my XP desktop. i was just looking at some themes and i hate all the ones which have the new vista start button, it's rubbish, there's even an element theme with it (that's the theme i'm using now :( but with the old style button)

    Need some help understanding...

I have a quick question maybe someone can help me out. I download a program called Windows Blinds 5… Cause I’m about tired of looking at the same desktop day in and day out. My question is this…. I set my desktop to the background i wanted. but how can I get my toolbar, taskbar and icons to change, like the one in this picture below?

Do I need to download a windowblinds skin such as the toolbar and icons below and then change the background of my desktop to the first picture…. I just want to change my icons, toolbars, put put a wallpaper of my own choice...can this be done?

    Thanks

I edited for the attachment of a picture, I forgot about the attachment thingy...

    Thanks

hi, that picture looks abit like my XP desktop. you can do that with one simple hack, once the hack is done you can install Visual Styles Themes as easily as you'd pick a theme now - you just have extra themes in the options.

    EDIT
i just remembered there's a program which will do everything automatically.
it's at the link below, i tried it with no problems, but if you can make a backup first do, or even a system restore.
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=95673

you can still download new themes if you use the program from above. sorry if this post doesn't make much sense, i haven't put everything in the right order, but i think the info is here that you need.

here's the hack. you run the patcher then reboot. then you can download and install new themes from here. if you have any questions ask.

you can change your icons too with and other stuff. here are some threads

    here's some stuff about icons
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=51563

good icons to use are foood's icons or vista icons
