I have a USB key, and would like to have it encrypt or password protected, in case I lose it.
Same with a harddrive (external). Any recommendations on what program(s) I could use/buy, doesn't matter as long as it's good, I don't mind flipping some coin for it.
    Thanks.*puppy* *puppy* *puppy*

    Hi,
You can also encrypt the data that you copy to your usb key.
    Have you considered that?
You could try then AxCrypt from sourceforge.

    Hi,
Sure it will work on folders.
You right-click a folder and encrypt.
You will still be able to access the folder, but all files will be encrypted.
You can also zip your folders, password protect the zip and then further encrypt with axcrypt and another password and then copy to usb.
    Mrk
