i'm just wondering if anyone has a kerio 4.2.3 ruleset and willing to share with me?? i try my kerio with shield up test but it failed on the ping reply...so what should i do?? all the opinions and help would be appreciated. Thanks....
If you're behind a router then it's possible your router is responding to the incoming pings and not Kerio, otherwise, check your Predefined settings if you're using them. If neither of those are the case, then you might want to try BZ's Kerio 2 rules and modify them for your situation. They can be found here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,8023708
Kerio should stealth you out of the box . I am guessing you have a router and it is responding to UDP and not TCP . Do you get all green but , says you failed ? Or , does it actually show open or visible ports ?
yes, i am behind the router and yes, they are all green but failed on the ping reply...is there anything i can do? or i should just leave it like that.. thank you for the help..
That is what I thought . It is failing on the UDP side . Depending on the router , I think you need to set it to DISCARD PING FROM WAN SIDE . If you can find that , enable it . On a Dlink router , it is under tools and then Misc . Did that help ?
