Hi everyone! As you can see I 'm new around here(in fact I just discovered NOD32) and I 'm thinking to buy it!
The online purchase form says something about a "coupon code".
Does anyone know where I can get one?
If anyone can help please reply or pm me...

You can buy an Academic License for NOD32 here (USD 19.50 for 1 year and $29.25 for 2 years):

    http://www.nod32-av.com/purchase/purchase.htm

You'll have to send proof to them that you are a student. The renewal price will remain the same as the original purchase price, since it is already discounted. For proof of academic status you can provide your student ID card or any other university issued card (it must be current). You can FAX it to NOD32-AV or email a photo/scan of the same (For further details, refer to the email from NOD32-AV after purchase).

    Regards,
    Firecat

Thank you very much for your help Firecat, but there are 2 problems:
1.I 'm from Greece,so I 'm not quite sure if they will be able to understand and verify my student card.
    2.I don 't have a scanner.
So if you (or anyone else) has another solution (such as a coupon code) that doesn 't demand something like that, please still do inform me!
(If not I 'll have to think of something to ovecome the above problems...)
    Thank you once again!

I could verify myself being a stiudent by using my university email address. Of course the domain must be easily verifyed to belong to an educational institute

    Hmmmm,ok,I might just try that...!
My uni doesn 't have a .edu domain, but I hope sending an e-mail from there with a link to its english website would do...
Out of curiosity: Does the academic license program have anything that distinguishes it from the standard edition?(In the about menu or something) Or is it just that you pay less and no other differences beyond that?

I have putchased NOD32 via a student discount; I'm a graduate student at ASU. I have noticed nothing different by using the student discounted version. Remember, the program is the same for all. The only thing that is sent you is the username and password.

Could I use one of the many "Guaranteed Student Loan payment slips" that I made as my proof that I WAS a student? :D

After paying backs tens of thousands of dollars of borrowed money for college....I feel like I'm probably worse off financially than many of today's college kids.....:doubt:

There is no difference what so ever!! As I said before all you recieve is a username and password which you input into the program. Why is this such a big deal?

The difference is PRICE, and ONLY price, you can then install the standard commercial version.

    Cheers :D
