I did a reinstall of LnS and it should be warning me about the UDP and IGMP's that I haven't set a rule for--they are in the log. Is this because under Options/ Advanced options/Protocols/ the Protocol Filtering Activation is Disabled?

    JVM,

What UDP port should be blocked according to your ruleset and what ruleset do you use (default, enhanced, customized) ?

It's port 1900 which is a destination port for, I believe, my modem/router. LnS used to give me a pop-up to click on but now it just logs it--and these UDP's are blocked by the Enhanced Rule Set.

I've come to realize this is not an issue as all is working fine with my Internet connection, and this port, while not warning, is being blocked automatically.

The weird part is it says PC>>Internet and I don't understand that. The source port is 1038 and it's listed 3 times in the log when I power on.

This traffic is usually associated with UPnP which is something that may be enabled on your router and associated with the SSDP Discovery Service on your system. If you are not using this and do not want to see these blocked packets in the logs you could disable the SSDP Service on your system and check your router configuration and disable it there if it is an option.

    Regards,

I know UPnP is not enabled. The only service I see enabled is IPSEC ALG Client
