    Hello,

Im using Prevx1 for like 2 weeks now and never had problems with it. But now I have a problem. Usally i started my programm's and Prevx1 is asking me wiht a pop-up if I want to "Run it Always" or "Run it Once" and i can tick "Yes" or "No".
But this Pop-up dont show up anymore ! when i start my programm now it automatic blocks the programm to access the physical memorie.......

I really need that pop-up to click "Run once", i dont need it blocked.

Someone can help me to get that message back ?

Go into Advanced settings, then click on Personal Rules (can't remember if it shows up for all modes, you may have to switch to Pro or Expert to get personal rules up)

Delete the rules for the program you want to get to start. Unfortunately it seems you have to delete all the rules for a program even if you only want to delete one - which means you will have to set the rules back up again.

there is nothing in personal rules.

i found out that prevx1 has updated there rules theirselfs. My programm had a yellow dot when i started it , but now it has a green one.

Is there a way to set this dot manually to yellow again ?

or is there maybe a way to DELETE this rule. Because I re-installed it WITHOUT internet and it still has this rule.....

  4. First thing are you running in ABC mode ,pro or expert mode?

However Even in expert mode (the highest level of control), you still can't manually set to querry control some events, for example " access to physical memory" is set to prevent only no matter what mode.

Feel free to complain to the Prevx1 team. You are not the first.

The idea with Prevx1 is to only alert on unknown programs. The green, yellow, and red "traffic lights" indicate the program's determination in the central database. Green means it's a known good program, and so you won't be alerted, yellow means it's unknown, and red means it's known malware. Since the old Prevx Home/Pro PAWS info showed that the program wasn't working for most people (because they were allowing prompts from malware) they changed Prevx1 to prompt you as little as possible. Online Armor works the same way. The other problem that was being encountered with the old Prevx Home/Pro was that people were blocking legitimate programs, which of course caused problems. So in short, no, there's no way to change it so that it alerts you on something once it's been determined "good" in the central database. The end result, however, is that everyone ultimately has greater protection now that this version of Prevx is focused more on malware, greatly reducing "popup fatigue".

About physical memory access, Prevx1 has always been set to automatically deny access to physical memory in any mode. The prompt that you were seeing was to allow the program to start, not to access physical memory. Are you seeing a popup that says that it has blocked your program from accessing physical memory, or are you just not seeing any alerts at all?

Actually I think it missed one. I know for sure that GameGuard implemented by Softnyx for their Gunbound game accesses memory, in order to prevent hacking and bots, was not blocked by Prevx1. But I can't complain, I uninstalled Antihook just to get that feature back. :T

Don´t know why, but PrevX did not alert me when I tried to execute a trojan. No popup appeared... I´ll use PG...
