good free firewall software? pls help

hi,

i hav a problem i hope some one can help me.

i want to know if there is any good free firewall software?

i tried an evaluation version of zone alarm. i think it

works exceptionally wonderful, but its evaluated version.

is there any free software comparable to zone alarm.

i hav nortan firewall. its a piece of crap. im planning to

un-install it.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Have a look at the Comodo free firewall...it comes very complete...and FREE

Another good one: Netveda, but no updates or anything for quite some time already. and the same goes for Filseclab.

ZA Free, Sygate Free, Filseclab, CHX for inbound are some very good ones.

I'm liking GhostWall.

 

my zone alarm is also free but it is evaluated version for 15 days how come urs is free?

ZA free gives you a trial of the Pro version if you selected that option during install, after which it will revert to the regular free version.
