Still down. Someone please call CA today, or if you have a number to tiny directly it would be really cool if someone posted it and or called to see what the heck is going on. I already called CA once.

    thx-1138

    Yes, you are right.

Several weeks ago I suggested to the Forummembers (non Tinysoftware staff as they did not participate anymore into the forum) to move to a public forum like Wilderssecurity. Several preferred to stay in the Tinysoftware forum as to see what Tinysoftware would come up with....

See what happened! All information and third party (other members) support is gone (or at least not accessible anymore). Like I wanted to see how I could import the Snort rules into tinysoftware. That is something that was mentioned in their forum.... I bought a $100 license for x64 a few months ago and now I am stuck with no official support at all.

    Ciao

    Thanks,

Just went there but on their Official Support Forum most threads are still missing and the x64 forum disappeard. Maybe, hopefully all will come back on a short notice.,

Are here on this forum many Tinysoftware users? Instead of posting on the Tinysoftware forum one could post all solutions on Wilderssecurity in case Tinysoftware/CA would decide to pull the plug to the TS website... then all info in the threads would be lost.

I can no longer log in anymore:mad: . It seems that I should start to look for some alternative solution to replace TF now.

I have also replaced Tiny Firewall, a few months ago, with CHX.
Now I work CHX 3.0 combined with Appdefend, unfortunately still in beta. Easiest management and better results for me.

    Regards

My original user name and password do not work anymore. It always shows 'invalid username' when I tried to log in. I also use 'yahoo' as my username there. It was fine before. But now it is blocked, very frustrating. It is ridiculous if the admistrator there is now picky on user's choice of username. Anyway, more and more HIPS available now. More potential choices are out there, which is not bad. I love Tiny Firewall. But I am also more and more sick of Tiny because of useless manual, none existing technical support, uncertain future of product development, and more.

Edit: I have registered again with username 'yahoo', and I can log in now. I guess that some of the registration information, mine included, was erased during the server shut down.

Let me guess... you registered somewhere after Feb. 9th 2005? Looks like all posts and threads are gone since then ... would not surpise me if all users registered after that date.... also were ....

Maybe they never heard of backup....

Yeah, my username 'yahoo' was registered somewhere after Feb. 9th 2005. I have another username registered much earlier than that date, and it works. For that username name, I can not post because I forgot to activate it after registration.
