MD5 Checksum Utility?

    MD5 Checksum Utility? I know it is to verify that it is the exact file, what do you use?, is there a built in verifier on XP? otherwise which one do you use?

    Has also sha-1, sha-256, sha-384, sha-512, RIPEMD-160, between others.

    Thanks, do you know of any that do not need to be installed?
    Just done a reinstall this weekend and thus really dont want to install much software.

    There are several hash utilities to choose from. Off hand, I don't know of any that do not require installation however.

    FileAlyzer does CRC-32, MD5, and SHA-1 hash analysis, and confers other file property information besides. Conveniently launches from the right-click context menu.
