MD5 Checksum Utility?

MD5 Checksum Utility? I know it is to verify that it is the exact file, what do you use?, is there a built in verifier on XP? otherwise which one do you use?

Thanks, do you know of any that do not need to be installed?
Just done a reinstall this weekend and thus really dont want to install much software.

 

There are several hash utilities to choose from. Off hand, I don't know of any that do not require installation however.

FileAlyzer does CRC-32, MD5, and SHA-1 hash analysis, and confers other file property information besides. Conveniently launches from the right-click context menu.

if you are abit unsure how to use it you can get an idea from post#25 i used it to take the checksum of the zip.

kana checksum just gives you the checksum when you right-click the file, i like it alot.
