Thanks for the nice comments on the doll house Now we've bought some cedar and will make shingles,also some walnut to make fireplaces.The siding will be light blue and the columns will be white.Just wait cindy--you wont reconize the outside when done.It's a slow process because one part has to be done before the next started lol.The house will have to be wired for lighting before the siding can be put up,which I have the lights,transformer etc.I have got all the windows and trim painted but there not ready to be installed yet.Hope my doll family will have a new home by christmas lol.I gave my old house to sis'es daughter so for now my family is homeless lol.well gotta go and hit these treacherous roads for work this morning.We have a winter advisiory and maybe will get 10 more in of snow before it all ends.We already have about 7 or 8--dread the drive this morn.Talk to u real soon and Cindy--thank you so much for giving me such a great project to work on!

your package arrived yesterday!!P sends his thanks and a big hug to you!Thank you so much!Worked on the doll house more last night,the porch is going on today,course it wont be finished for awhile,roof has to be shingled--long way to go but it is getting there lol.I have all the lights but a porch light which I ordered yesterday.This house will be my christmas gift--also ordered a porch swing.I just wish it would be done by christmas but I doubt it--to much left to do!You have a terriffic day sis

House update!!

I ordered a kit of furniture and put it together myself--what a job--I'm no carpenter for sure lol.After I put it together then I had to stain and poly it--I didn't do the best job,but luckily I have good furniture too lol--that was already made by someone who knows how.Have a great day!

Amazing! Miniture wooden furniture

 

It was so hard to glue together too lol,I ended up with more glue on my fingers than on the furniture took me hours to do because I'm not really good with my hands.I dont think I want any more furniture kits--will buy already made in the future--live and learn

Dollhouse update!!​

Hi sis
doll house update--siding is on and painted--windows ready to go in --porch roof and columns come next. I think it's looking great!Shutters are ordered-havent come yet and porch railing for upstairs porch is ordered also.We are making shingles and porch flooring here are pics before the windows put in and one after put in.Love this project! ps--the color is a beautiful blue--my camera is not taking good shots for some reason tonight.The house doesn't look stripey as the picture shows lol

My golly, those pictures were huge!! I'm surprised they went through email OK.
