The Oilers collapse against Buffalo being the biggest.

Yes, that was a sad day. I even cried after that game, and I'm a Cowboy fan. :'(

    Not sure I agree.

Notre Dame really should have lost against USC. USC is the better team, but ND almost pulled it out. Actually, it's USC that used up a couple of miracles to win that one.

And Stanford never should have been in the game vs. ND. No comparison there. I think ND thought it was going to be an easy one, and almost let it get away from them.

Hey, how 'bout them Longhorns! It's amazing that every computer poll has them on top (#1), but every poll of the two-legged variety has them in second behind USC. Really looking forward to that showdown. ;)

    As did USC

It's amazing how a year can go. Normally Thanksgiving games....Colorado\Nebraska....Florida\Florida State....etc mean something in the Big picture....but not this year :doubt:

    The list of dishonour. :D ;) :D

The game that forever will stick out in my mind is the one simply known as the "comeback".

I live in close proximity to Buffalo and to this day fans and friends still talk about that infamous game.

Watching that game was like being in the twilght zone for 3 hours....

I can just imagine how Houstonites felt that day. :(

Let's just hope the Texans don't accidentally win a game and lose their lottery position. I wonder how the $750 million McNair paid for the Texans is carried on his balance sheet...

A true Houston sports fan never feels safe with any lead in any sport at any point in the game...

However, the Longhorns probably felt secure in their Colorado game. Ditto for the Bruins. Bring on the Rose Bowl!

I think in tax accounting we called it a loss carryforward! :(

I don't think Dave Carr's gonna return home here in Bakersfield during the off season. His team stinks worse than when he was a rookie.

The Texans must continue the ineptitude to get the Reggie Bush draft pick, assuming Reggie opts for the pros after his junior season. Hard to turn down the bazillion dollars when they wave it in your 22-yr old face.

Although a lifelong Bruin fan, I easily switched allegiances when the guys in cardinal & gold went 12-0 on the other side of LA. Make that "fair weather fan". Jeez, we get the game of the century (Rose Bowl) in the 1st decade.

I was also hoping Jacksonville was going to be able to pull off an upset. Not looking that way right now. Although I do like the Colts. For that matter, I would prefer any team to the Patriots right now. ;)
