Explorer view.

    How do I open "Internet Explorer view"? I am on W2K.:doubt:

    Here is what I am trying to do on the advice of a friend:
    "use the sort-by-extension feature in Explorer (you simply click the "Extension" header in an Explorer view". Is this helpful?
    And I am on Internet Explorer, NOT on Mozilla/Firefox.:(

    As a user of Win2000 I am not aware there is an extension column(or header as your friend described it) that's available that let's you sort by extension. In the below pic after right clicking a column you can see the available columns. What may work for you without installing a third party app is while looking at an Explorer Window select View\Arrange icons....select by type

    There seems to be a confusion between 'Internet Explorer' (the browser) and 'Windows Explorer' (the file manager). It is of course in the latter that you can and add or remove the columns as described by Bubba).

    I will definitely inform, perhaps tomorrow, today is quite a busy day. And yes, what we have in mind here is Windows Explorer.:ninja:
