    Howdy,

The word "upgrade" no longer appears on the Acronis homepage. Is it no longer possible to get the upgrade price when going from TI8 to TI9?

    Thanks,

    Kenneth

    Try the drop-down Purchase menu.

    Hello KennethS,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please be aware that you can always purchase Upgrade to the current version of Acronis True Image in the Product Upgrades section of Acronis online store regardless of whether the word "Upgrade" is shown on the main page of the Aconis web site or not :)

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

I am happy to hear that, but why then does my acronis e-mail say the upgrade is time limited until 30th November? o_O

I'm pretty sure that the 30-day limit is for a free upgrade - say you bought Acronis 8 and 9 came out 10 days later or so... free upgrade in the 30 days.

That would agree with Alexey, but in my e-mail it says:
Well, I don't think I'm ready to go to TI9 yet anyway, so que sera sera.

I've received the special offers as well, especially the Trueimage and Diskdirector combo, not a bad price, BUT I won't go for it until some stability is put into this new version.
By that time and in about 9 months to be exact, version 10 will come out and another email will be sent out asking me to upgrade, maybe by that time version 9 will be free of bugs.
Then do I buy the 9 upgrade which will be obsolete and be unsupported or buy a buggy version 10.o_O o_O
