Zone Alarm Internet Security 2006

Just would like your feedback if anybody has used this Security Suite and if so whats your personal verdict on it. Also as a all in one suite would you reccomend it and is it on the same level to that McAfee or Nortons security suites. Also how would you rate it against CA eTrust EZ Armor.

I've read some reviews of this suite here in Australia and apparently it got very high reviews and was voted as one of the best Internet Security Suites on the market.

Also what's it liked on resources.

Basically I know it uses CA VET engine and also ZONE Alarms award winning firewall.

Also would you know assume if I buy the 2005 version and installed it, would it automatically update to the latest being 6.0.667.000. I thought users who have previously bought the 2005 version, will be automatically eligible to upgrade to the 2006 version or the latest version.

 

New ZA just came out...6.1.737.000 and you can update as far as I know.

I had Zone Alarm Pro version 6.0.667 and today it uptaded new version 6.1.737 automatically,installed without any problem.I think you will be automatically eligible to upgrade to the latest version of Zone Alarm Internet Security 2006.

 

Hey we live in Melbourne. Its a small place after all.

As long as you have a valid license key, you are entitled to any upgrades to any version. If ZL was to release version 7 tomorrow (ZA does not go by 2006, 2007 etc. as its possible to release two major versions within the same year). Customers with a valid license key will be entitled to version 7. If version 8 was released the following day, customers will still be entiled to it.

I guess you get the picture.

 

FYI: Install the new ver yesterday and and it installed flawlessly. Seem to have a smaller footprint too and over all just works great.

 

How dose the anti virus software work with this program? Will it compare to McAfee? Or Stmantac? I use Mcafee now,would ZA be any better?
