...And what is the build, shown in the "Info-Window", also 2311?

I had to install it twice to get the info screen display 2311. Upon the second install, select the "Repair" option, that finally did the trick. What's strange though is that the driver files (tifsfilt.sys, timntr.sys, snapman.sys) in Windows\System32\drivers did not get updated anyway. Anyone from Acronis can confirm that the kernel drivers do not get updated?

OK, I did it again with the Repair-Option, but it's still 2.293?

Correctly, thank you! Maybe they have forgotten to change the text in the Windows-Version?

    Thank you for the information.
It seems Acronis is releasing the updates in alternating order, one version in German, one version in English, that way they make not everyone mad at once.
Anyway it sounds as if I can take the risk to install TI 9 when the English update has been released.
It’s funny, I never purchased software before that I did not dare to install before someone on the support forum tells that it works.
Next time I will check this forum before I shell out money for Acronis software.

Me too. I had what appeared to be a flakey disk the other day on my system and when it seemed to be working again I quickly did a backup using DriveImage and was miffed I didn't trust my new Acronis TI9 b2302 even though I did one sucessful image with it previously.

Anybody have trouble with SATA connectors? Right now that looks like the cause of my problem. Reinserting on MB looks like it fixed problem but not totally confident.

Yes, I did. Actually I got frequent errors from my RAIDCore controller and the support people told me to change the SATA cables, even I used the original cables supplied with the controller. I did that twice and no errors anymore. The quality of the SATA cables seems to be a bit critical.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I have just received a reply from our Testing Team. The point is that build 2311 of Acronis True Image 9.0 German does not update the previous versions correctly when it is being installed over the older build (product installer issue). However, this build still can be installed correctly if you will uninstall any previous builds first. This problem will be fixed in the next build of Acronis True Image 9.0 German. Please accept our apologies for the current inconvenience.

    Thank you.

    Hello bambang_trilaksana,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I'm afraid that the exact time frame for the release of the next build of Acronis True Image 9.0 English is not decided yet, but most likely it will be out in a few weeks.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.
