    Hi all.

I am new to Nod32 having just discovered it a few days ago. I am quite impressed. I have downloaded the trial version for win xp 64 and loaded it on to my system. It works flawlessly and seems to have a very lite footprint which I like a lot.

However there is ONE fly in the ointment.

I cannot get my Ati Catalyst Control Center to start up properly - I get "CLI Application [Command Line Interface] has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

Going into debug mode yeilds me this error.

    Error signature
    AppName: cli.exe AppVer: 1.11.0.0 ModName: imon.dll
    ModVer:2:51.8.0 Offset: 0000d039

I am on a fresh install of xp64 with cat 5.11 drivers and CCC installed. I did the system file checker test and anything else I could think of. My rig runs very very stable and fast except for this one error. I would very much like to purchase Nod32 but obviously am VERY HESITANT to do so without my video driver working. If I turn off Imon all works fantastic.

Can someone help solve this issue please.

Unfortunately I don't have a 64 bit processor, but I've an idea. I hope this will work on your system.
Have you tried to exclude the application in question in the IMON's exclusion list? Maybe it'll work.

I would be happy to try that if I knew which file to point the exclusion list to?

well thanks, I am a noob but not that much of a noob. hehe

I have looked in the ati folder to find the exe or whatever but I did not see anything that resemeble the ccc. If someone knows the name of the file I would be happy to try excluding it.

Guys I must be a noob. For some reason I kept looking in the C:/Ati folder.

I found the program folder and the cli.exe --- can someone point out to me where I can exclude it so that it does not conflict with Imon?

My most humble thanks good Sirs.

All is well now. I rebooted after making the changes and had a freeze, another hard boot and all seems to be well.

    Thank you all. :)

OK I could not make my aiw 9700 pro card work with the ccc . I just deleted the fancy control panel and downloaded the old styl control panel. It works great. I get the best of both worlds. The driver version got good reviews and the older control panel allows me to switch to another monitor. I also use nod 32 but run a 32 bit machine so I dont have issues with nod but when I saw you had ati I just had to help:D

Yeah I never could get CCC to work on my pc no matter what I did - Long time ago though.
So I just use the old CP, it works perfect :p

The old control panel will no longer be an option for anyone after 5.11 as support has ceased. Everyone will have to use the ccc.

Well that sucks. If I'm lucky it might just work, but I don't think it will.
Guess I'll have to stick with the 5.7 driver or use the Omega driver instead.
