    Hi,

What is the most stable version of 7.0? I recently had to do a restore, and can't remember which version of Acronis was the best. I searched the forms and can find very little out about build 638. To me it seemed like 597 was a good build. Anyway the reason I ask is because I don't want 20 archives that all say ok, then when I go to restore I have to try all 20 to find one good archive.

I never upgraded to version 8 because I missed the free upgrade by one day!:'(

I would upgrade to 9, but too many complaints so far, so I'm waiting....:doubt:

I'm using 7.00.634 on one computer and it seems very stable. However the last build is probably the best overall, at least in Aconis' opinion. 638 was the last one of series 7.

7 works but I have to do what seems like 10 tries before I get an archive that is not corrupted. I have version 595, 613, 638 (but not 634). I guess I'll stick with 638.

A restore from HDD to HDD (both internal) takes about 2 hours to restore a 25 GIG partition. --- Note version 613 is twice as fast as 595 or 638 don't know why but it is.

I was hoping 9 would be faster but with the bugs I can't chance it.

Well I had a sucessful restore from an archive that was tested as good. It took almost 2 hours to restore. (19 GIG of data). This from an internal 2nd HDD.

How long has your restore times taken?

I continue to use TI7 b638 and find it very stable.
