I have the free zonelab. I keep getting a box at the bottom right corner of my computer that says ""protected " with an IP address. I thought it was someone trying to get in but lo and behold, it is my IP address.

    What does it mean?
Could it be that I have both computer on ( I am not certain of this but one has the free zonealarm and the other Norton Personal firewall.

Are you running both Zonealarm AND Norton on the same computer? If so you need to take one of them off. You shouldn't run two firewalls on the same computer......not at the same time.
