I just uninstalled KAV 5 Personal to do a trial of KIS before I renew. When my laptop boots up it says NTLDR is missing. Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to restart. I do that and is keeps coming to this message and won't boot up. How do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

    Hi dom424,

This could be a number of things. I had this problem once, and all I had to do was copy the ntldr files from my windows cd to the computer. I'm gonna point you to a site that could be helpful: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000465.htm

Hopefully one of those help you, and some other experienced users here may post with some advice as well.

(By the way, this is my first post here. I've been reading posts here for a long time and finally decided to post :) .)

Thanks for your time. This computer came with no disk and has no floppy drive. I did the ole F10 and reinstall. It needed it any way. I'm book marking that web sight you posted. Thanks again.
