True Image 9 will not close down after running a scheduled backup. A little box announcing 'Processing, please wait...' and 'Shutting Down Acronis True Image....' just sits there forever.

An 'End Task' in Task Manager is required to complete the process (TI is shown as running in Task Manager). An annoyance, is there a fix?

Is this with TI 9 build 2302?

Thanks John. No, it's 2289. I'll get the later version and try it.

I hadn't! Thanks for the pointer. Now downloading the update. Interesting to see if it makes any difference to my problem.

    Thanks again.

Update: with 2302 the GUI now closes down instantly and there is no instance of it in Task Manager but the tray icon remains forever there just spinning away.

I noticed this sometimes with 2289 but haven't seen it with 2302; thought it was fixed. :doubt:
