    I think the best is Fastmail.
    Free and paid accounts, It's been going for years and I've been using it for over two. I'm gradually routing all my mail through a paid-for account but I used to use the free version and never had any problems.

    Is it possible to use Java with Tor or similar? I've never been able to get it to use a proxy?

    You know Neggy, I've known Robert Demes for 10 years. He's a serious developer both domestically and in Costa Rica. He's got a decent website on his developments. www.robertdemes.com He is responsible for some of the finest development in the entire nation of Costa Rica.

    I've done a number of business deals with him and I've made money and he's acted ethically and responsibly.

    I've lived in Central America. Most of us know who the "expat scalpers" are. I've never heard of John Allen whom you say IS Robert Demes and it's certaily not true that Mr. Demes is a "scalper". If you're going to libel someone (yes, that's what it is if you post untrue information that hurts someone) you might actually disclose how you have come to know that John Allen is Robert Demes. Unsubstantiated rumors posted as "fact" can hurt. Imagine if I started posting that there were rumors that you were not only a federal agent trying to entrap people but secretly were a kiddie porn freak? Can you see that it might hurt or cause you problems? As I'm sure it's not true in your case, it's equally not true about Robert Demes.

    its pretty clear that these libels come from privacy.li who were caught with their bucolic swindling pants down by many truth seekers.including cryptography expert Bruce Schneier.and they are now seeking to smear.they should tread more carefully.
