You have chosen to open an exe file that is in fact VB.AAM Trojan.

From what I have just read you should be able to remove this by following the comprehensive steps found in General Cleaning.

If these steps do not resolve your situation, you will need to download and run “Hijack This” found here and post your log at one of the HijackThis Specialist Forums, the two bigger forums for HijackThis log processing, (meaning they process more log threads each day than most others) are: SpywareInfo.com and CastleCops.com. Be sure to read their posting policy in the links at their log review forum sections prior to posting.

The steps mentioned in General Cleaning use software that ought to be part of your security, as an absolute minimum.

Once your system is clean, you may want to take a look here for further discussion on security and how to make your system that much stronger and here for more.

This is what works really well for me, very simple to use and maintain.

    Hope this helps...

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers :D

Did you Disable System Restore and restart your system in Safe Mode?

Have you tried running HijackThis in SafeMode?

    Cheers :D

Fuzi0n, please read carefully what I posted in my 1st reply to you.

We could probably get you sorted in a reasonable time, however you keep wanting to go past and ignore steps, so I think it would probably be better to format your system and start again, it will be a quickest method for you to follow

So from "Today 08:12 AM" to "Today 08:25 AM" you have downloaded and run Stinger after turning off System Restore and booting into Safe Mode... Damn that's quick, never seen it to date, but if you say so... and you've run Ewido in Safe mode as well, also lightening speed, I want your versions of these programs  ;) :D

well i havnt, but im fed up of going through a list of virus scanners
u know what virus i have, and they never get rid of them

that annoying feeling when u spend hours cleaning your computer, then reboot, and wow, the virus is still there
its worse than being stabbed in the balls with an ice pick for crying out loud.

Well if you follow each step within General Cleaning precisely and don't skip a step, from what I have read, you should be able to remove this pest. Alternatively post your Hijack This Log at one of the Forums that I advised and wait for a specialist to wander along and help you.

General Cleaning costs you nothing other than a couple of hours and should resolve your issue...

    Cheers :D
