I purchased my TrueImage 8.0 from Newegg.com about 2months ago since I read it could handle raid 0 w/ NF3. When using Ghost 9.0 , when i would boot from the CD , it could never detect my dual raptors in a array, only by themselves as 34gb drives. So I purchase TI8.0 and make some back ups of my system and sure enough 2months later I decide I would like to restore to earlier image and no go, drives do not show up as one partition/array. They show up as seperate 34gb drives, so I launch XP Pro install and it detects the image of both drives together just fine.

Please this seems to be a waste of my money , what needs to be done to actually restore to a Raid0 from TIboot disc? My images are on a 60gb IDE slave drive.

Please help. If it doesn't work can I send my retail version software back to you for a refund?

Perhaps it is your controller. I have two Maxtor SATA 80GB drives in a Raid 0 setup. I am using the ICH5R Intel on my ASUS P4C800E Deluxe and I can confirm that this worked with TI8.

P.S. I almost went for the Raptors but wanted more storage and the 74GB was too expensive.

Try restoring the image to the first of the 2 drives indicated. Nvidia RAID controllers are not well supported in TI. My Promise and VIA controllers work great in TI.

    Hello eno45,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please create the sysinfo.txt file (please see Acronis Help Post for the instructions) and send it to Acronis Support along with the link to this thread and the full model name of the HDD controller your drive is connected to.

    Thank you.
