IT8211 ATA/ATAPI controller for Windows XP

    I have a HDD WD800JD (IDE) on a ITE8211 controler - (IT8211 ATA/ATAPI controller for Windows XP - Integrated Technology Express) (motherboard Asus P5LD2 Deluxe) that apear as SCSI.
    The problem in that at restore, the HDD is not visible.
    I try and with Acronis True Image 9 and same result.
    There is any soution?

  2. I Have the same problem, with the same motherboard, hope Acronis will do somthing to include this driver in a future build (ITE 8211 ATA/ATAPI DRIVER).

    After all this motherboard is one of the flagship product from Asus, one of the biggest MB manufacturer.

    Good news. The guys at Acronis already made the modification for supporting and this controller. And it work. They promise to insert it in next update. Follow it. Bye.

    No, they tell me that soon, but now I work with them at a new update: for Silicon Image SiI 3132 controler. Bye

    Good news again: TrueImage 9 (build o_O?) will work (soon hope) and for Silicon Image SiI 3132 controler. That means are covered all situations for ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe motherboard. That is realy a good news. I don't tested for Linux partitions, but becouse the "core" of the program, probably work good. Bye
