The fight to take out outwar.com and others like it!

If you use filtering software and know how to contact the company that makes it I ask that you submit outwar.com as a target. Lets make sure these folks know that we will not sit here while they attempt to get registered users to fill chatrooms with SPAM URLs all for a silly online game. I have had one to many headaches as legit looking URLs turn out to be this damn site! I refuse to let others be victims to this shady new practice that outwar.com and other spawned sites have already put up! I am striking back and you can help!

Please contact any place that you can submit new targets to help get outwar.com as a blocked site by default. May the person who created this site be shot for such stupidity.

 

Maybe I visit different places to everyone else but I've never seen this spamming going on?
Is it mainly irc and chat based sites that get affected?

 

The biggest offenders are mainly AIM public chats on exchange 5 with those listed and IRC chats. Message boards are feeling the pain as well whenever people post links such as go see my pic or something else to decieve users to clicking to their registered creature. As I understand it ROUND 6 of this contest is about to come out so the less hits these people get the better. Maybe they will finally say "Hey this game kinda sucks now cause everyone is blocking it. What's the point of spamming up a room with trying to get more hits! I guess I need to find something else to entertain myself."

I find each of these stupid sites I am submitting them to smartin's host file page. If you have any email addresses I can submit these sites to for other target submissions via filtering programs please post them.

 

It appears that Outwar.com has changed to http://65.61.153.217/page.php so please add this entry into whatever you use to block pages with! This is their newest URL for round 7 as they attempt to try to avoid blocking of their site with the new URL!

 

This stuff gets spammed onto forums everywhere as well... Once a week or so I'm deleting them off of my game squad forum.. Thanks for that new url I will add it to Proxo

 

err well since I hardly now how to use my proxo I put it in "restricted sites"

These sites would make good additions to IESPYAD lists but I guess they might not be "spy" sites just spamvertising of some sort
