"Quick Reply" posting anamoly

It may depend on the Proxo filters and the way you have them setup. Bypassing Proxo should elminate it being the problem. Then you can focus on your browser settings.
You can right click on the Proxo icon and select bypass at any time.

The way you have it configured is the way I have Opera setup.

 

Just to verify regarding this and related problems so all readers will understand... We can't change anything regarding these issues on this end. The problem is the filtering being done in the proxy software, which isn't able to handle the newer javascript related functions in vBulletin 3.5. I'd imagine that since the Javascript is updated and more complex then it was, that the Promo filters need upgrading to handle them properly without people having to bypass for the site.

I just didn't want anyone to think that "Wilders is working on this issue." With all the threads people have posted with "javascript related problems", (and yes, the "Manage Attachments" function is yet another Javascript routine), they are all turning out to be client side issues and not anything we can fix from here.

 

Well, you're helping us, too. By finding that it was indeed Promo in that case, that helped us focus back on some of these products as possible places for people to look if they are having similar problems. That's why I've collected a few of the issues together in that other post I've linked to a couple times now. Going forward, as new people arrive with similar problems, we'll just keep adding troubleshooting ideas to that thread to have it all in one place.
