This looks very interesting. But I am not quite sure what to do with it. Do I use it to replace the default configuration (or my customized version), or do I add your filters to the filters that Proxomitron comes with? I suppose that one could do either, but what is the intended use?

Also, I have the Naoko-4 version of Proxomitron. Will your browser security pack work okay with that version? And do you know if Naoko-4 is a good version of Proxomitron?

First you extract all the files to your Proxomitron directory. Second, in Proxomitron, click on Merge, and merge my .cfg file. You've added my pack ^_^

Yes, it will work find with that version. I'm assuming you're talking about 4.5j.

It doesn't replace your configuration, you just add filters to your existing set. =)

I just opened Proxomitron to see what version I have. It reads:
    "Version: Naoko 4.5 (2003-6-1)"

Is that the same as version 4.5j?

    Hi Kye-U,

Isn't Naoko 4.5 (2003-6-1) the latest version also known as the June version or 4.5j . Reference Henk's site below :

    http://www.xs4all.nl/~vsetten/prox/

Have unloaded your pack and shall be using it.

    Cheerio.

On one of the filters: Mozilla: 'Print IFRAME' Crash [Kye-U]

The filter blocks the crash with this test link, but this one crashes my browser (K-Meleon 0.9, upgraded to GRE 1.7.12).

Yogishree, yes, Naoko 4.5 (2003-6-1) is also known as the June version, which in turn is known as the final version of Proxomitron. Glad to hear that everything's fine so far =) And thanks by the way ;)

Mysterion, the problem is that your Proxomitron is not set to filter HTTPS sites. In the main Proxomitron GUI, click on Configure, then on the HTTP tab, then ensure "Use SSLeay/OpenSSL to filter secure pages" is ticked. :)

    Nope, it doesn't :(

It's mainly because Proxomitron was programmed to support meta characters, such as \k, to kill the connection.

Perhaps in the future I will create a pack for Proximodo, if it becomes more frequently used than Proxomitron :D

    Thanks for you reply :)

I tried Proximodo and Proxomitron, but didn't like them, so I will stay with Ad Muncher...

    Regards
