care to share why the number is different? Is Ronjor running 64 bit version, or a beta version?

No 64 bit here. Not sure why it shows 6201.

I'm seeing 6201 on all my machines here...

Ronjor, are you running the admin version by chance?

Well.. I'm running xp versions - so if you're on XP version, standard - it seems a little strange for your database # to be one ahead (or mine to be one behind) - most odd... perhaps Marcos or HappyBytes can share why there might be a differntial in number...

the reason I ask, is that some users stated a while back that component level would be a nice thing to include in the database updates - and I expressed concern about differences in build levels across different versions at the time as a complexity which would make posting such information largely redundant, or at least a very complex affair.

regardless, I added components to my updates database - see:

    http://www.nod32usa.com/nod32-updates/updates/1043.html

    (click the Show/Hide Component link)

    I've just added the caveat:

Note: These versions are taken from the full installation of the Windows XP version - database versions can be numbered SLIGHTLY differently for the trial version.

I had a very strong feeling that this was going to be a complex can of worms...
