I installed TI 9(b2247) trial over the top of TI 8. I was somewhat concerned to see that it flags my scheduled jobs as "invalid" scripts even though they have been working fine (under TI  for months.

I realise from searching the forum that "invalid script" concerns have been raised already, and I wondered whether anyone has come to any conclusion or if a later build has fixed the problem.

    Thoughts please ?

    Hello foghorne,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please note that you need to recreate your scheduled jobs after you install 9.0 version over the 8.0 version of Acronis True Image. The difference between 8.0 and 9.0 versions is that 9.0 version stores its script files in \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\Scripts folder (not in \Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Acronis\Scripts folder as it was in 8.0 version).

Many problems with scripts have been resolved in the 2270 and 2273 builds. Please install the latest build(2273), which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

I am using 9.0 Build 2277 and I still get "Invalid script file!" name when ever I edit or rename my backup script. I have gotten this with every build since 9.0 and never got it with ver 8.0. Not sure why this is so hard to fix as it is so easy to test.

The problem I have of creating an incremental disk backup using a script is not fixed in build 2277. The script asks for a password for the image file even though the image file is not password protected.

Your statement above implies there is only one difference - i.e. the location. If this is true why can't the installation program copy them over.

If there are other differences can we please have a script upgrade built in. I run with about 10 or 12 scripts and I would prefer not to have to recreate them.

    Thoughts please Acronis ?

Deleting the existing scheduled tasks and creating new ones as suggested by support is working fine for me
