No I dont P2P or use any file sharing. I had Pestpatrol and they were bought out by cA or somebody and I had to delete it as it did not function properly anymore.. and Im thinking these are left over quarantined stuff that didnot go
away when I uninstalled Pestpatrol. Or I was hacked. Too afraid to just delete the whole downloaded programs file as windows update class and java active x contols are in that file folder. But when I click on the folder and scan it with bitdefender It all comes up. Should I worry about these files? If I delete the downloaded programs folder and contents to get rid of the hidden malicious files will windows repair itself? Windows 98SE

Ok getting somewhere now. There are 2 of the same files the one with the conflict which is a malicious duplicate of the good file that windows needs. I am now deleting the conflicted copies and leaving the good files it copied. and then reboot and rescan the folder.
