    Just did my first solo flight on a Cessna 172 :D :D :D
    It's great without the instructor
    Gues that makes me a flying fire-ant now :cool:

    I was walking around in the pasture looking up for you and I slipped in a cow flop and sprained my festubula! I also got ferns in my clyde! Bummer!!

    About that waterplane, I have no parking space at home. The pond is too small.
    The first time I saw a floatplane land on a normal runway, I could not believe my eyes. I didn't know then, it has also got wheels on it.
    Primrose, actually I mistook the term cross-wind with cross-cable and ran into this bear...
    Animals are a big danger however.
    The migratory birds are all over the place now. You really need to watch on take-off and landing. Yesterday, I almost had an eagle in the props. It scared the *&^%& out off me.

    I Just passed the big written exam :D
    Now it's just a matter of building flight
    hours for the final flight test.

    But first some beers ....

    I almost got a hawk in my props 2 days ago.
    Pretty scary experience.
    It's the migratory season here. The geese are everywhere and they don't file flightplans...
