3 Updates Tonight

I have received 3 virus signature updates this evening. Is there some sort of outbreak on the loose?

20-09-2005 06:38:42 The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1223 (20050920).
19-09-2005 22:38:07 The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1222 (20050919).
19-09-2005 19:03:33 The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1221 (20050919).
19-09-2005 17:07:06 The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1220 (20050919).

Eset has been busy It's probably due to the new Bagle as you can see in post #6 here

I did not read that entire thread before, so I missed the comment about the new Bagle variants.

 

I'm a bit worried about this... shouldn't it be that we should have recieved updates on Sunday? And that makes the other thread about weekend updates more important too.

 

Hehe ESET guys were not theys only busy yesterday I see Alwil guys had full hands of work too. Probably others too. Good ol' outbreaks again. Haven't seen them for a while hehe (since Zotob)

 

Just done a manual update at 19:12 GMT; it's now up to version 1.2225!

 

Another update is being prepared...

Marcos,another engine update? At least that's what NOD32 was downloading few seconds ago. But AH appears to be at 19.9.2005 so this must be something else...

 

Got it at 16:43 pm 1.1226 via Auto update.
