    When I download build 937 the file is only 18MB which is much less than previous build. My download manager (Fresh Download) recognizes the download as a HTML file. Is 18MB correct or am I doing something wrong.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    I've read that some download managers don't work properly downloading acronis products and that it is recommended to disable any 3rd party download managers as The File Is not A HTML,That may have happened because your download manager could not properly catch the download,if you are on A Slow Dial-up connection you could try an alternate 3rd part download manager as some have had success catching acronis downloads with no problems,this one works with no problems for me:

    Hello all,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    You may find useful the MD5 checksum of the build 937 of Acronis True Image.
    Please do the following in order to check out the integrity of the installation package:

    - Download and unpack the checksum utility from http://www.acronis.com/files/support/xcsc.zip
    - Run the application and click on the ellipsis sign to browse and select the installation package you downloaded;
    - The MD5 value for Acronis True Image 8.0 (build 937, English) must be 76930B48712DF673CA5FC5770EEDF838

    Thank you.

    Yep. I've never, ever had a problem downloading files from Acronis using Getright. I believe the secret is not to use the accelerated (i.e. segmented) download feature of your download manager.

    "Free Download Manager" works fine with Acronis downloads, even segmented.... FYI
