After evaluated the Outpost_Pro (2.7.485.412) and the new ZA_security_suite (6.0.631.002), and beginning to think OP is a better product for me, then I was shocked when I tried to register to the Outpost user forum (http://www.outpostfirewall.com/forum) that it requires user's birthdate in full !!!!!!! Is this requirement only applicable to user who has not purchased Outpost products? If not, I have second thought about buying the Outpuost_Pro. Its normal to register email address, even mailing address, but Birthdate is something like my social security number that I wont like to disclose. Am I being too paranoid ?

It's probably just a different way (better perhaps) of asking the "Are you over 13?" standard question.

Use a fake birth date whenever you're asked for your date of birth and you don't think they have any legitimate reason for asking for it. The vast majority of web sites have no business asking you for it.

Heh,birth date isn't something that would compromise anything. Forums usually use this just to check whether you are allowed to use it or not (that Are you under or over 13 years? crap...). And in profile when others view it (+you are shown on birthdays list if forums has it,scroll down the Wilders and i think you'll see one).
